About Jenny:
Jenny is a lifelong endurance enthusiast who thrives on outdoor adventures, whether on trails or the open road. A physical education teacher, she is passionate about all sports and staying active, rarely sitting still. Jenny's athletic journey began at the age of 3 ½ as a swimmer, followed by soccer in kindergarten, and later expanded to volleyball, basketball, track, and cross country. She played college basketball for a year before running cross country and track at Willamette University.
After college, Jenny transitioned to triathlons while continuing to compete in running races, qualifying for the Olympic Marathon Trials in 2000. She then became a professional triathlete and duathlete, earning numerous accolades. During this time, she also excelled in bike racing, ranking among the top 25 American riders at the renowned Women’s Challenge.
As her triathlon career began to wind down, Jenny turned to Spartan Obstacle Course Racing, where she achieved remarkable success, becoming the Spartan World Champion and Spartan Series Champion in her 40s. Although she scaled back on racing during the Covid pandemic, she now participates in select events each year, often persuaded by her love for competition and camaraderie.
Jenny considers herself a "jack of all trades, master of none" and has coached triathletes and runners at various levels, including her own children, who are impressive runners in their own right. With a wealth of experience across diverse sports, Jenny offers valuable insights and perspectives on what it takes to be prepared and perform at one's best for any event. She loves to move and connect with others who share her passion for an active lifestyle.

How can you help a client reach their goal?Â
"I like to think that I’m good at helping people set realistic goals and know the steps to achieve them. I’m a life coach in some ways; I can help clients when life throws obstacles at them, when life gets messy and hard and how sports/running can help you through those rough patches to reach success in all areas of life." Jenny
